Adjunct complex/construct:  a memetic complex or construct that acts in concert with another complex or construct to reinforce, protect from outside influence, transfer to other hosts, or perform some other meta-memetic activity relative to the memetic complex or construct being discussed.

Host:  a person affected by a memetic complex or construct who holds the beliefs of said memetic complex or construct to be optimally valid

Memetic construct:  an aggregation of one or more memes that form a single coherent entity

Memetic complex:  an aggregation of several memetic constructs that act towards a single larger concept.

Meme:  an individual unit of information.

Memetic Hazard:  a memetic construct or complex that is capable of displacing rational thought processes* with memetic responses and which can result in actual harm to a person, group, or society.

Memetic thought:  thought processes which cannot be fully mapped as a set of logical axioms and which rely upon fallacies or other non-rational memetic constructs for all or part of the progression from a starting point to a conclusion.  A host for memetic thought processes uses memetic constructs and complexes preferentially to any other thought processes.

Rational thought:  thought processes which can be mapped out as a set of connected logical axioms from one or more starting points to one or more conclusions and which contain no fallacies.
